Electrified Motors UK – Refund and Returns Policy

1. Returns and Eligibility

At Electrified Motors UK, we want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases.

For change-of-mind returns, items must be returned in the same condition as received, unused and complete, including all original accessories, components and packaging where reasonably possible. Items must be packaged securely to prevent damage during return transit.

If an item has been used, damaged or handled beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may be entitled to make a deduction from your refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

2. Your 14-Day Cancellation Right

For eligible purchases made online by consumers in the United Kingdom, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, subject to applicable legal exemptions.

You must notify us of your decision to cancel within this 14-day period. After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Unless otherwise agreed or required by law, customers are responsible for return postage costs for change-of-mind returns. We will cover return costs where required by applicable law.

4. Condition of Returned Items

For change-of-mind returns, please ensure that:

The item is returned in the condition in which it was received, allowing for reasonable inspection.
All supplied components, accessories and included items are returned.
Original packaging is included where reasonably possible.
The item is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

If goods are returned with missing components, damage or signs of handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them, any deduction from a refund will be assessed in accordance with applicable law.

The absence of original packaging alone does not automatically remove statutory cancellation rights.

5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible.

Faulty goods are handled separately from change-of-mind returns. Customers will not be required to pay return costs where the law requires us to cover them.

6. Electrical Components, Batteries and E-Bike Kits

E-bike kits, batteries, motors, controllers and other electrical components must be returned with their supplied accessories and components where applicable.

For change-of-mind returns, products should remain unused and complete, subject to your statutory cancellation rights.

Certain goods may be exempt from cancellation rights under applicable law. Any relevant exemption will be applied only where legally permitted.

Nothing in this section removes your rights regarding faulty or misdescribed products.

7. Refunds

For eligible cancellations, we will refund the product price and the cost of standard delivery where applicable.

We are not required to refund additional costs arising from a more expensive delivery option than the least expensive standard delivery offered.

We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever happens first.

Refunds will be processed within the applicable legal timeframe. Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to complete the transaction.

8. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us before returning it. Exchanges are subject to stock availability and applicable consumer law.

9. European Union Customers

Consumers in the European Union may have a right to cancel eligible online purchases within 14 days of receiving their goods, subject to applicable legal exemptions.

Where this right applies, customers generally have a further 14 days after notifying us to return the goods. Refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
