2. Eligibility and Use of Our Website

You must provide accurate information when placing an order and keep your contact and delivery details up to date.

You agree not to misuse our website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access or use our services for unlawful purposes.

We reserve the right to restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers or website security, subject to applicable law.

3. Products and Descriptions

We aim to ensure that all product descriptions, images, specifications and prices are accurate and up to date.

Product images are provided for illustrative purposes where appropriate. Actual appearance, dimensions, finishes and supplied accessories may vary where the product description clearly indicates this.

Please read each product listing carefully and contact us before purchasing if you need clarification about specifications, compatibility or what is included.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory rights if a product is faulty, misdescribed or does not conform to the contract.

4. Product Compatibility and Installation

E-bike conversion kits, batteries, motors, controllers, displays, chargers and other electrical components must be compatible with the intended vehicle and electrical system.

Before purchasing, customers should check relevant specifications, including voltage, current limits, battery chemistry, connector types, wheel size, axle dimensions, frame clearance, dropout spacing, braking systems and controller compatibility.

Customers are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for their intended application. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

Professional installation is recommended for high-power electrical systems and custom builds. Incorrect installation, incompatible components, unsuitable wiring or improper setup can cause equipment damage, overheating, fire or injury.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions and all applicable safety requirements. Do not modify or operate electrical components outside their specified limits.

5. Legal Use of E-Bikes and Electric Vehicles

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their completed vehicle, conversion, modifications and intended use comply with applicable laws and regulations.

In the United Kingdom, an e-bike conversion kit or high-powered electric bicycle is not automatically legal for use on public roads simply because it is sold with a road-use limiter or other accessory.

Customers must check the applicable requirements for electric bicycles, electrically assisted pedal cycles, e-scooters and other personal electric vehicles before using them in public places.

High-powered builds should only be operated in locations where their use is lawful and safe. Customers are responsible for obtaining any required approvals, insurance, registration or other permissions.

6. Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

An order confirmation email acknowledges that we have received your order. Acceptance of an order will take place in accordance with the order process and applicable law.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example where a product is unavailable, a pricing or listing error has occurred, payment cannot be authorised, or fraud is reasonably suspected.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will arrange an appropriate refund for the amount paid for the cancelled items.

7. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£ GBP), unless stated otherwise.

Applicable taxes and delivery charges will be displayed or explained before you complete your purchase, as required by law.

Payment must be completed using the payment methods made available at checkout. Orders may not be dispatched until payment has been authorised and received.

If a genuine pricing error is identified, we will contact you before proceeding where appropriate. If an order is cancelled because of an error, any payment taken for that order will be refunded.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Available delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout or communicated to you before purchase where required.

We aim to process and dispatch orders promptly. Dispatch and delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Some orders, including kits and battery products, may arrive in separate parcels because of packaging, carrier or transport requirements.

Delivery may be affected by courier delays, severe weather, operational disruption or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will communicate material delays where required.

For consumer purchases, responsibility for the goods during delivery is determined by applicable law. We will not exclude any delivery obligations or customer rights provided by law.

9. Returns and Cancellation

Our Refund and Returns Policy explains how to request a return, cancel an eligible order and obtain a refund.

For eligible online consumer purchases in the United Kingdom, you generally have 14 days from receiving the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel. You will normally then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Change-of-mind returns should include all supplied components and accessories and should be securely packaged. Customers may be responsible for return postage where permitted by law.

Any deduction for handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods will be assessed in accordance with applicable law.

Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods are subject to your statutory consumer rights. Nothing in these terms removes or restricts those rights.

Please consult our separate Refund and Returns Policy for full details.

10. Faults, Warranties and Technical Support

Any product-specific warranty will be described in the relevant product listing or supplied warranty documentation.

Warranty terms may explain the warranty period, what is covered, how to make a claim and any exclusions that are legally permitted.

Damage caused by incorrect installation, incompatible components, misuse, neglect, unauthorised modifications or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications may not be covered by a voluntary manufacturer's or seller's warranty, where the exclusion is lawful.

These exclusions do not remove any statutory rights you may have regarding faulty or misdescribed products.

For technical support or warranty enquiries, contact electrifiedmotorsuk@gmail.com and include your order number, product details and a description of the issue.

11. Batteries and Electrical Safety

Batteries, chargers, motors and controllers must be installed, charged, stored and used in accordance with the relevant manufacturer's instructions.

  • Use only a compatible charger with the correct voltage, connector and charging specification.
  • Do not use batteries or chargers that are visibly damaged, swollen, overheating or otherwise unsafe.
  • Do not leave charging batteries unattended where the manufacturer's instructions advise against it.
  • Keep batteries and electrical components away from water, excessive heat and other unsuitable conditions.
  • Use suitable wiring, fuses, connectors and protective equipment for the system.

Stop using a product if you suspect an electrical fault and seek competent assistance where necessary.

12. Repairs, Upgrades and Custom Builds

Any repair, upgrade, diagnostic service or custom build will be subject to the scope of work and price agreed with the customer.

Additional work or replacement parts may incur extra charges. Where reasonably practicable, we will obtain your agreement before undertaking work outside the agreed scope.

Customers must provide accurate information about the vehicle, its components, existing faults and previous modifications.

Any estimated completion time is an estimate unless a specific deadline has been expressly agreed. We will act with reasonable care and skill when providing services.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits your statutory rights concerning services.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content on this website, including text, branding, graphics, photographs and design elements, is owned by or licensed to Electrified Motors UK.

You may browse the website and use its content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially use our content without prior permission, except where permitted by law.

14. Website Availability and Accuracy

We aim to keep our website available and information accurate. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every page will always be free from errors.

We may update, change or remove website content, product listings or features as necessary. Changes will not remove rights already established under an existing contract or applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For consumer purchases, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from use of a product contrary to its instructions, incorrect installation, or an incompatible setup where we have not agreed to supply or approve that setup.

Nothing in these terms removes any responsibility that we have under applicable law.

16. Privacy and Personal Information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how information is collected, used and protected when you browse our website or place an order.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may use third-party services, payment providers, delivery companies or external links.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or operation of external websites, subject to any responsibilities imposed on us by law.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will be published on our website with the updated date.

Changes will apply prospectively where appropriate and will not retrospectively remove rights or alter an existing contract without a lawful basis.

19. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the part of the United Kingdom where the relevant consumer resides, where required by applicable law. Otherwise, the laws of England and Wales will apply.

Consumers may also be entitled to bring claims in the courts available under applicable consumer protection law.
